My Ten-tastic Fast Fingers

WALT type faster. I know when I have typed faster when I have bet Mrs Richardson's score. Her score was 48 words. The screenshot says I haven't bet her score and need to keep practicing. This is my score for 10 Fast Fingers.

My Peaceful Prayer for Nelson Mandela

WALT make a prayer for someone who is sick. Mrs Richardson told us to make a prayer for someone who is sick. I know I can make a prayer by using the trap prayer. This is my prayer to Nelson Mandela who is sick:

Loving Father,
Thank you for the doctors and nurses who help Nelson Mandela feel better and help his lungs because he is sick in body. Nelson Mandela solved problems in South Africa. I ask that you would heal him so that he would be with his family. Without him, the South Africans wouldn't have peace. I promise I’ll do my best for Nelson by doing hard work.
Amen.

My Ambitious Synonym Wheel

WALT use ambitious vocab in our stories to make it exciting. Mrs Richardson gave us a boring word and we had to find marvelous synonyms to use it in our stories. I know instead of using said, I can use spoken, forenamed, aforesaid, aforementioned, assumed, supposed, and alleged. This is my synonym wheel I drew using paper:

My Math Map for Hansel and Gretel

WALT draw and follow a path on a grid to show a route followed. I learned that using a compass can lead you to where you are going. We read the story Hansel and Gretel and we need make a map by drawing the path that Hansel and Gretel may have followed to go to the witch’s house. I know I can draw and follow a path on a grid because I can draw a path to Hansel and Gretel's house to the gingerbread house and back again. This is a picture of my map:

Fantastic Football

Do you know what sport we are playing this term? Room Five and I played AFL yesterday, on the field. Our coach was Jereum. We played lots of fun games. We were going to learn lots of new skills. We changed into our P.E clothes for the game.

First, we played a warm up game called Continuous Tag. All of us were the taggers and we had to tag everyone! When we tagged someone, we had to sit down on the grass. When the person who tagged you was down, you can get up and tag anyone who is up and running. I tagged lots of people and some people tagged me. Then the game was finished.

Next, we learned a new skill called Drop Punt. There were four tips to achieve the skill. The four tips were laces away from faces, the cross pointing the sky and the ground, hands on lines, and while we are kicking, our shoes are pointing to the front. We had to go in partners to do this. I was with Celeste. She kicks more better than me and I catch it.

Finally, we played a game which had two islands, separated with a river in between, and fighting in a battle. We were split into two teams. Our partners was in the other team. We had to kick two footballs to the other island so that the people in the other team can't get it above their heads. I got lots of turns and I got points for my team. It was a tie between both teams because we won in round one and the other team won on the other round. Then we were changed back into our school uniform.

Beautiful Before and After Picture - Jesus Heals

WALT recognize how people are healed by faith in Jesus and by his touch. Mrs Richardson told us to make a before and after picture of the man in the bible scripture, either Luke 8.26-39 or Mark 2.1-12. I chose the bible scripture Luke 8.26-39. This is my before and after picture of Legion, the man who needed to be healed in the scripture:
