Do You Want To Have a Pet Without Having to Pay For One?


You will need:
  • odd-shaped stones
  • paint brushes
  • acrylic paint
  • wool or string
  • paper
  • tiny buttons
  • water

What to do:
  1. Wash and dry a stone.
  2. Paint the stone like an animal.
  3. Stick on wool as a tail, paper as the ears, and tiny buttons as the eyes.

Do you like your new pet? Is is kind? Is it pretty?
Keep on making stone pets until you have enough.

This person is so special, so special to me. She’s special to me and my family.

She’s loyal and she protects us whatever may come. This special person is my mum.

She’s special because she’s the only mum that I have and she’s more important than anyone else in the world.

She likes to sing and she likes to cook. She is full of knowledge because she loves reading books.

She gives us advice because she knows what’s best for us. She likes to be beautiful and she likes wearing dresses.

Her husband’s called Armand and she has three kids. She tells them to do their homework until it’s done.

She has long hair and she has brown eyes, She was born in Bohol and she has been baptised.

She is good in many ways and she is my hero. She has many good virtues and I love her a lot.

Do You Want To Make Your Own Wrapping Paper?

WALT write a procedural writing using the correct structure. I can do this when I write a procedural writing in order.

You will need:
  • Any vegetables
  • Kitchen paper
  • A3 size sheet of paper
  • Stamp pad


What to do:
  1. Cut the vegetables.
  2. Dry them on kitchen paper.
  3. Press cut surface onto good, inky stamp pad.
  4. Press the vegetables onto an A3 sheet of paper.


Experiment! You can use different stamp pads, colors, or vegetables. Keep pressing until the sheet is covered. Look at it. Does it look good?

Do You Know How to Make Damper?

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups self-raising flour
  • a pinch of salt
  • 80g of butter, chilled and cubed
  • ¾ cup water


Utensils:
  • A large bowl
  • An oven
  • Baking tray
  • Non-stick baking paper
  • A round-bladed knife
  • A sharp knife


  1. Preheat the oven to 200C.
  2. Line the baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  3. Combine the flour and salt in a large bowl.
  4. Rub the butter using your fingertips into the flour until the mixture is like breadcrumbs.
  5. Add the water to the mixture.
  6. Use the round-bladed knife to mix the mixture until it comes together. Add 1-2 tbsp of water if the mixture is dry.
  7. Mix it together with your hands.
  8. Place the dough into a lightly floured surface and knead the dough until it is smooth.
  9. Shape the mixture into a 18cm disc and place it on the tray.
  10. Using the sharp knife, mark 8 lines on top.
  11. Dust the dough with a little bit of flour.
  12. Bake the dough for 30 minutes.


If the damper sounds empty when you tap it on the base, then the damper is ready.
